London Marathon Winners Raffle Prize

Splish Splash Splosh Appeal Fundraising Event - sold out!

Tickets are now sold out for the event on 30th June. A small number of tickets are available for the evening jazz only.

A big thank you to everyone who has bought tickets and to the many people who are unable to attend but have donated their ticket money. We are very grateful for your support!

Inner Wheel of Aberdare - Splish Splash Splosh Appeal donation

I would like to thank President Olga Evans of fundraising group the Inner Wheel of Aberdare for their very kind and generous donation of £200.00 to the Splish Splash Splosh Appeal.

Tuesday 9th April

It was great to walk into Ogmore Vale Bakery in Cowbridge at lunchtime today and see all of the lovely ladies who work there wearing their daffodils!

Thank you so much to everyone who has already bought tickets.  It really is going to be a great afternoon & evening and all in aid of a brilliant cause.

I have seen some of the lovely products that will be on sale in the marketplace and I promise it will be a shopper’s dream!

I am currently in the process of making a Noah’s Ark quilt for the raffle that will be held on the day – it is a work in progress, but I still have a while to get it finished!

We will also have lots of amazing raffle prizes, generously donated by Welsh celebrities and a fabulous Team GB Kit!

As everyone knows, events like these can only happen with the generous help of fantastic people.  We thought it might be interesting to feature profiles of some of the people who have volunteered to help out on the day – coming soon!

Appeal Daffodils

 

These daffodils are some of the items we started creating for St Davids Day & Easter as part of our fundraising for the Splish Splash Splosh Appeal.  They are priced at £2.00 and are being produced by our ever growing dedicated team of knitters around South Wales.

 

Look out for people wearing them!
